In a Nutshell
Once we successfully help young people transition off the streets, the real challenge starts. If it takes nine months to secure housing for someone, it might require double that time to ensure they feel fully capable and at ease managing their own living situation. Our housing support teams will closely monitor their progress and assist young renters in establishing a stable, community-centered life.
Building Stable Homes
Our housing support may encompass the following:
• Assistance with finding and managing an apartment
• Life skills training, including living independently and self-sufficiency
• Developing a follow-up plan for transitioning to independent living
• Weekly food baskets
• Clothing
• Furniture
• Counseling and emotional support
• Referrals for medical and dental care
• Housing stipends

Our housing programs are available in 11 locations: California (Oceanside, Orange County, San Diego, Silicon Valley), Georgia (Atlanta), Illinois (Chicago), Massachusetts (Worcester), Texas (Houston, San Antonio), Virginia (Hampton Roads), and Washington (Kitsap County).
